Med-school anatomy quizzes from your own notes PDF

Anatomy volume is brutal. Generic question banks drift from the exact diagrams and lists in your course PDF — for example a Semmelweis notes pack, or another faculty’s (audience examples only, not partners or endorsements). As of October 2026, English medical cram-style pages exist; they are thin on “quiz this upload.”

Paper still works: cover the page, recite the list, check. ScienceIQ shortens the question-writing step from that same PDF.

Rules that keep anatomy quizzes honest

  • 1. One list, one quiz pass. Do not mix upper limb and cranial nerves in the same ten minutes.
  • 2. Name → function and function → name both directions.
  • 3. Diagram labels from memory before you reopen the figure.
  • 4. Delete anything not in this course’s PDF, even if a commercial bank loves it.

Worked example: forearm flexors (paraphrased)

Your notes PDF lists (names only for the example):

Superficial flexors: … Intermediate: … Deep: … Innervation emphasis on median vs ulnar distribution for two named muscles.

Closed-book prompts:

  • 1. List the superficial flexors in the order your PDF uses.
  • 2. Which two muscles in this chapter are flagged for ulnar (vs median) caution on your slides?
  • 3. Cover the diagram: label the three compartments you were told to know for this lab.

Misses become five flashcards with the PDF page number on the back.

A 35-minute anatomy block

  • 1. Pick one system or region PDF section (5 min skim of headings).
  • 2. Closed-book list dump on paper (10 min).
  • 3. Check; mark misses in a second colour (5 min).
  • 4. Quiz or cards on misses only (10 min).
  • 5. Optional: redraw the mind-map branch for that system (5 min).

During dense ZH / vizsga weeks, run two blocks on different regions rather than one exhausted marathon.

Where ScienceIQ fits (and how we differ)

As of October 2026, thin English medical cram hubs (template “cram for a [subject] exam” pages) do not start from your notes. ScienceIQ’s loop is upload → Quiz + Flashcards + Mindmap on that document, with an optional dated Exam for the anatomy midterm or final.

  • Upload notes / slides PDF.
  • Quiz and Flashcards on that file.
  • Mindmap for system-level structure before the next region.
  • Dated Exam when the ZH / vizsga date is fixed.

Use it on the lists and diagrams your course gave you. Lab and atlas work stay where they belong: in the course. No grade or readiness promise — and we do not run the oral for you.

Try it on one region tonight

One PDF section. One list dump. Ten quiz items on the misses. Stop when the timer ends.
